The girl’s amusement put a smile on Charlotte’s face. It was much better than spilling it all over someone who would turn it into a huge deal, she was more than delighted that the girl was too excited to notice. A soft giggle left her breath, “Not at all, I’ve been a pirate for as long as I could remember.” Charlotte offered a small smile, though in reality she never knew about her full origins. Of course she knew about living all her life on a pirate ship, but everything before her years as an infant was a blur. “No I don’t hae a ship of my own, I’m only a part of Captain Silver’s crew, but we do go on a lot of adventures.” Charlotte smiled down at the girl, “Please to meet ye, the name’s Charlotte Von Asten.”
A pirate from birth? Eternity wondered what if would be like living on the sea for her whole life – and got a little seasick from thinking about it. She giggled and nodded, listening intently. “Captain Silver? That’s uh… Treasure Island, I think? Never read it, but it sounds amazing! Lots of adventures – and that’s plain epic!”. When the pirate girl, Charlotte, introduced herself, Eternity gave her a polite bow. “Well, ‘tis awesome to meet ye, Charlotte,” she said, attempting to imitate her way of speech.
As soon as the high pitched squee was heard by the pirate she cringed at the sound until it was over. It wasn’t a result of being annoyed, it was just the fact that she’d never heard or seen anyone fangirl. An awkward grin took place on her lips, “Yes indeed I’m a pirate.” Charlotte simply replied. In her eyes being a pirate seemed normal, no reason to be excited, a better reaction that she would of expected was the girl running off, or it was better predicted. “It’s different from this I guess, kind of fun actually.” She shrugged, trying to come up with something interesting to say about life on Captain Silver’s ship. Though as soon as the question came up she nearly forgot every experience and adventure ever lived.
How totally amazing, the pirate girl was going to tell her about epic tales on the seven seas! It was just like the stories her father told her – full of epic fights and brave adventurers. Eternity’s face lit up, still ignoring the spaghetti on her dress. “Have you always been a pirate? Did you sign up to be a pirate? Do you have a pirate ship, like in the stories?” she grinned, continuing her ramble. “I’m Eternity Kayson, by the way!” she extended a hand. “Daughter of Kai and a freshman. Nice to meet you… uh, what’s your name?”
Steady ground. It was something much different than the usual rockiness and unsteady feel of a boat that was always tugging through waves. Charlotte missed the rocky fel, but as she made her way to the Castleteria, a smile spread across her face. Castleteria meant food, and it wasn’t horrible like the food on boat. The small girl waited in what seemed like an endless line just to get her meal. After grabbing a tray of spaghetti and water, Charlotte timidly made her way out of the lunch room, and much to her dismay, she crashed into another person and spilled her lunch all over the two. Her azure blue eyes widened in shock, “I- am so sorry!”
Eternity had been excited for lunch. She had been stuck in Ge-orge-phy, and the teacher had been droning on about hurricanes and made such a cool thing sound boring. She made her way to the Castleteria in a hurry, and unintentionally forgot to look ahead, and ended up with spaghetti all over her.
"I’m sorry!" she said instantly, attempting to brush the spaghetti off her skirt. "I didn’t look, I’m really sorry–" she glanced up, before noticing the girl’s sailor-based attire, realising she collided with a pirate. Instantly forgetting about the spaghetti, Eternity clapped her hands together and squee’d like a fangirl. "You’re a pirate! That’s so cool! I’ve never met a pirate. What’s it like, being a pirate?"
He turned around and raised an eyebrow.”No and no. Not shoo you lettle… zhing. I do not like people who are annoying and you seem like all of zhat and more…”
"You’re… not the next Snow Queen?" Eternity blinked slowly at his ‘no’, ignoring the fact he just told her to shoo. "Oh, okay, I was just hoping to meet other people in my destiny! Well, uh, do you know where the next Snow Queen is?"
